An acidic monolithic refractory material primarily composed of high-purity quartz sand, with added binders and sintering agents, applied through ramming construction. The core is a silica (SiO2) system. It offers strong resistance to acidic slag and molten iron erosion and does not react with cast iron. It features thermal shock resistance, resistance to rapid heating and cooling, low expansion during furnace heat-up, and is not easily cracked during cold furnace periods.
Melting Applications: Gray Iron, Ductile Iron
